Top Ten tips of healthy eating during lockdown.

 

Please observe all precautions .Avoid gatherings and use mask at all places.Take all precautions even if you got the vaccine .

Following are the Top Ten tips of healthy eating during COVID 19 pandemic 

   The most important thing to keep in mind, is staying away from sugary foods. consuming too much  results in the body storing it as fat. Instead, it will be better to rely on proteins, vegetables, and fruits. What will be a perfect diet? 

1 Eat fresh fruit & Vegetables : Take a bowl of Soup and properly washed fruit .(Avoid making juice or replacing it with Juice from market)  Take a 15 to 20-minute break, This break is very important  for your brain to register how full it may be and how hungry your body really is?This 20 -30 minutes Break is a must; it will not allow you to feast .

2.Dinner  : The real challenge is making sure your body gets the required amount of calories every day & not too many calories. One to two cups of cooked rice should be enough .Please avoid excessive salt , more spicy food since they’ll leave you feeling pretty thirsty  very next day .

Do not eat too much. I repeat do not eat too much as due to prevailing conditions  your body fat will increase .Obesity is a risk for factor for COVID infection

3.Replace tea & coffee: When it comes to drinks, try replacing coffee and tea with water. Your goal is to ensure your body is not dehydrated, so that you are not tired . Make sure you drink enough water between dusk to dawn, a bit over three liters should leave your body well hydrated and can also do wonders to your skin.

Keep Lemon cubes ready to use at home: Crush 8-10 lemons and put the lemon juice in the cubes without water, store in the freezer of your refrigerator. Make lemon tea or take lemon water and just chill. Please avoid adding sugar .Lemon juice is rich in vitamin C, Vitamin B, calcium, and minerals

4.Sweat Dish : Pumpkin 

I suggest replacing  sweet dishes with Pumpkin . It is easy to prepare, boil pumpkin and mash it, then mix curd, add dry fruit or zeera. Then refrigerate. Pumpkin is a good source of vitamins A, C, E and B ,dietary fiber. Mineral wise, it’s rich with potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, manganese, sodium, and zinc. 

Some suggestions :

5.Talk Less : Talk  meaningful and when needed it will save your energy .Do not sleep too much. Be dutiful to the core. 

6.Be Happy and thankful . Your body will release good hormones, which will boost your morale and keep you fit.

7.Limit TV & News

Please don’t be obsessed with corona news or any other news .Let us take a break and relax. Just take all precautions. 

8.Shun Hate : Let us try to shun hate and spread peace and brotherhood.
